Foundry Ladle Operative

£13.00ph+ (dependent on experience)
Days regular, Monday - Friday

Metalis Engineering Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Ladle Operative to join a specialist manufacturer in Sheffield.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain ladles, including refractory repairs and pre-heating
- Safely transfer and pour molten metal in line with production specifications
- Operate overhead cranes to manoeuvre ladles and associated equipment
- Monitor metal temperatures and remove slag/impurities as required
- Carry out pre-use equipment checks and maintain accurate documentation
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and PPE requirements while meeting production target
The Successful Candidate MUST:
- Have atleast 2 years experienced Operating, Maintaining and repairing their own ladles
- Have Overhead Crane experience
Shifts & Salary:
- £13.08ph+
- Days regular, Monday - Friday
- Monthly bonus scheme (qualification period)
- Quarterly profit share scheme (qualification period)
- Advancement and training given to the right individual
