Our client are a global aerospace manufacturing company who are renowned for their craftmanship and engineering capabilities. Due to an increase in demand they are looking to add Manual Grinder to join their impressive shop floor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manual Grinding of products in the shop floor
- Angle Grinding
- Familiar with using a variety of measuring equipment including verniers and calipers
- Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy
- Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards.
Salary & Shifts:
- Days & Afternoons
- £14.55PH (DAYS)
- £14.55PH + 1.25 shift allowance (AFTERNOONS)
- Overtime available at time ½
- Monday - Friday, no weekend working
Person Specification:
- Proven ability to work from engineering drawings
- Understanding grinding thickness, width and ends to size on rectangular and square steel section
- Must have angle grinding experience
