Job Title: Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Midlands

Shifts: Days regular

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Metalis is working with one of our large, well-established clients who are looking to add to their facilities management team by recruiting for a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer. The position would be based in and around the Midlands area and will be working with HVAC equipment.

Job Role:

• Be part of a wider facilities engineering team to carry out a reactive and planned preventive maintenance service to all plant and equipment across the Client's site.
• The plant, equipment and services within the Engineer's remit includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Refrigeration plant, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
2. Air Handling Units
3. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment
4. Packaged liquid chillers
5. Pump sets and valves
6. Heating plant
7. Steam boilers and associated ancillary plant
8. Compressed air equipment
9. Electrical distribution and control equipment
10. Effluent transfer plants

• Respond to breakdown and emergency situations, diagnose, and rectify faults and carry out effective hands-on maintenance and repairs.
• Be part of the team providing out of hours cover through call out, be available for call outs and attend as necessary when called out.
• Advise on plant and equipment improvements which contribute toward site improvements, health and safety and/or technical corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relkevant electrical engineering discipline.
• Experience a HVAC or refrigeration engineer would be advantageous.
• Gas certification would be desirable.
