Days & Nights - 4 day week
Sheffield - S9
12 Week Temporary - Permanent
Metalis are currently working alongside a leading manufacturing company based in Sheffield who are looking for a Production Operative to join the team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Carry out regular quality checks and record production data accurately.
- Support setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance of production lines.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
- Assist in loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean work area.
Shifts & Salary:
- £14.46ph
- Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday = Days / Wednesday, Thursday = Nights
- 4 day working week
- 12 Week Temporary - Permanent
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (steel or metals industry preferred, but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn machinery operation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to shift work and overtime when required.
