Sales Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
Monday - Friday | Office Based
Location: Chesterfield (S41)
Permanent Position

We are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business who supply specialist products into a range of technical industries across the UK and Europe.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to support their busy sales team. This role will involve coordinating sales activity, managing customer communication, and supporting marketing and exhibition planning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the sales administration function while working closely with internal teams and international colleagues.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Managing multiple sales inboxes across different product streams

  • Updating and maintaining customer information across two CRM systems

  • Liaising with customers to provide updates, resolve queries, and maintain strong relationships

  • Producing regular sales performance and activity reports

  • Preparing quotations for catalogue-based products

  • Following up outstanding quotations with customers

  • Organising exhibitions, including coordinating stands, marketing materials, and equipment logistics

  • Working with the marketing team in Germany to develop social media plans aligned with sales priorities

  • Coordinating mailshot campaigns in line with social media and marketing activity

  • Supporting the sales team in maximising the use of LinkedIn for business development and engagement


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Sales Administration, Sales Support, or Customer Service role

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills

  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and international colleagues

  • High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
