Job Role: Slitting Machine Operative

Location: Ripley

Salary: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a packaging company who are looking for a Slitting Machine Operative.

Job Duties:

• Set and operate a slitting/punch machine
• Working to customer specific dimensions
• Carry out inspections on machines and report any issues
• Cutting materials to correct size minimizing waste
• Work safely and follow Health & Safety procedures

Job Requirements:

• Experience working on a slitting/punch machine (training will be provided)
• Experience/knowledge of the packaging industry

Salary & Shift:

• £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Mornings, 6am - 2pm
• Afternoons, 2pm - 10pm
