Job Title: Wood Machinist

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £11.50ph with shift allowance (open to salary expectations)

Shifts: Mornings and Afters

Metalis is working in partnership with an engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of bespoke components.

We are actively recruiting for a Wood Machinist to join an expanding team in Rotherham.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with measuring tools to tight tolerances (vernier calipers and micrometers)
Operating large belt fed sanding machines.
Using table saws
Adhering to health and safety
Excellent Health and Safety philosophy

Person Specification:

Experience with hand routing operations (table routing)
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with wood

Shifts and Salary:

Rotating shifts

Mornings 6am - 2pm -
Afters 2pm - 12am or 2pm to 11pm
Overtime Available at Enhanced Rates
12 weeks temporary to permanent role
