Site Service Engineer

Job Role: Site Service Engineer (UK travel with occasional international)

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Starting from £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are working with a well established manufacturer in Sheffield, who are looking for a Site Service Engineer to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Install, commission, inspect, maintain, repair and service various handling and lifting equipment
• Working on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Undertake PPM's as instructed
• Attend emergency breakdowns when on call
• Complete service reports, inspection records and other relevant documents
• Support the design team for new equipment
• Carry out various testing on equipment
• Provide technical support to customer
• Ensure all equipment is safe, reliable and operating correctly

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with handling and lifting equipment
• Experience in a mechanical and/or electrical engineering environment
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when needed

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

• Starting from £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm & Weekend Rota
• On call allowance
• Overtime paid at enhanced rate
• 24 holiday days
