Toolmaker (EDM Based)

Job Role: Toolmaker (EDM)

Location: Mansfield

Salary: From £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are working with a well established business in Mansfield, who are looking for a Toolmaker (EDM) to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Operate EDM CNC wire eroders, spark eroders and fast hole drilling machines
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Operate other machines when need (millers, lathes, surface grinders etc.)
• Produce jigs and fixtures to support production
• Carry out routine maintenance on machinery
• Test, evaluate and document all components trials

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained or 5 years' experience
• Toolmaking/EDM experience
• Experience working with the Aerospace sector

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

• From £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
