Job Role: Vertical Turner/Borer

Location: Ripley

Salary: £36,138.96 - £42,932.76 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are working with a well established business in Ripley, who are looking for a Vertical Turner/Borer to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Machining of high integrity parts in a variety of materials (stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys etc.)
• Set, operate and program machines
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Work to an exacting quality standard to ensure parts are machined right first time and on time
• Use measuring equipment to check work
• Identify and suggest improvement activities
• Carry out periodic maintenance checks on equipment

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained or 5 years' experience
• Vertical Turning/Boring experience
• Experience using Fanuc and/or Siemens
• Experience in relevant industries (Aerospace, Nuclear, Power Generation)
• Experience working with a wide range of materials
• Experience working to tight tolerances

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

• £36,138.96 - £42,932.76 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
• 33 holidays (including statutory)
