Job Role: Mechanical Fitter/Production Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Starting from £14.50 per hour
Metalis are working with a well established manufacturer in Sheffield, who are looking for a Mechanical Fitter/Production Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties
- Building, testing, inspecting and preparing equipment for delivery
- Assembly and testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Inspection and checking of incoming goods
- Load testing of completed equipment
- Working from engineering drawings
- Occasional site work to support the service team
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance
- Complete relevant documents and reports
Job Requirements
- Mechanical engineering experience
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience in machinery assembly, maintenance, testing or servicing
- FLT & Overhead Crane licenses or experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Predominantly based at their Sheffield manufacturing facility but may be needed to support on-site work at short notice
Salary, Shift & Benefits
- Starting from £14.50 per hour
- Monday to Thursday, 7:15am - 3:45pm & Friday, 7:15am - 12:15pm
- 24 holiday days
- Company bonus (after 1 year)
