The Company
A long-established manufacturing organisation providing critical parts into engineering sectors including oil & gas, marine and aerospace.
Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.
The Role
Working within a busy production environment the role of the CNC Turner is to:
- To set and operate CNC Turning machinery producing large and high value components
- Promote and contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities.
- Conduct quality checks of work using CMM systems
Experience/ Skills
- Ideally be an apprentice-trained/ time served CNC Machinist or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Must have CNC experience operating Fanuc
- Manual experience with large vertical lathes is desirable
Package
- £14.66ph with 25% shift allowance on afters.
- Days (06:00-14:00) and After's (14:00-23:00 nominally)
- Overtime available.
