Job Role: CNC Miller
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £36,000 - £37,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Metalis is working in partnership with an independent sub-contractor in Bredbury who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled CNC Miller on a permanent contract.

Job Duties:

  • Set-up and operate CNC Milling Machines
  • Edit and prove out CNC Machines
  • Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
  • Self-inspection of your own work
  • Preventative and General maintenance checks
  • Ensure all HSE legislation is adhered to at all times

Job competencies:

  • Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC Machines.
  • Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.
  • Fanuc experience is advantageous.

Salary & Shift:

  • 40 hour working week
  • Monday to Thursday - 7am to 4pm - Fridays 7am to 1pm
  • £36,000 to £37,000 per annum dependant on experience
