Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator Miller/Turner

Location: Leeds

Salary: £14.20 rising to £15.20 after probation

Shifts: Days and Nights

Metalis are currently in partnership with an engineering company who are actively looking for two skilled CNC operators to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• CNC Setter & Operator. (programming not required for this operating role).
• Working with mild steel/aluminium/stainless steel.
• Tool tip changes.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• To have prior experience setting/operating CNC Milling/Turning machines Correa/Toshiba/Doosan and operating languages Fanuc/Heidenhain.

Job Requirements:

• Able to read and work from engineering drawings where necessary.
• Qualification / Apprentice trained within Engineering/CNC etc.
• Happy to work both Day and Night shifts.

Shifts & Salary:

• 4 x 10-hour DAY & NIGHT shifts, both days 06.00-16.00 and nights 20.00-06.00 Mon-Thur). Monday - Thursday (Able to work 12-hour shifts and paid overtime for the additional 2)
• £14.20ph Basic+ (DOE), with £60 per week shift premium
• Overtime after 40 hours is an additional £4.00 per hour.
• 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
