Job Role: Dispatch Operative
Location: Bredbury
Shift: Days Only
Salary: Up to £28,000 Per Annum
Metalis are working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a dispatch operative to their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all the material meets the customer's specifications
Job Duties:
- Assemble wooden cases and secure large items of manufactured
parts ensuring that the packed item meets all customer requirements
such as dimensional, visual, packaging and marking - Follow packing instructions in a timely manner to meet shipping
deadlines, ensuring that item is correctly boxed and labelled - Load/unload vehicles in a safe manner ensuring a safe working
environment and transport resources are utilized appropriately. - Liaise with Logistics schedulers to ensure coordination of
instructions and maintain delivery promises - General labouring duties
Job Requirements:
- Must have experience driving Forklift
- Previous experience of working in an engineering environment
- Understanding of job scheduling/date priorities.
- Sound understanding of H&S procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- Salary: Up to £28k per annum
- 40 Hours per week

- Days Shift - 7am - 4pm
- Early Friday Finish. 7am-1pm Friday
