Fabricator Welder

At Metalis we are working with a specialist engineering company that is looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their growing team. This role involves fabricating and assembling components to a high standard within a precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assemble and fit fabricated parts with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Carry out proof load testing where required.
• Manufacture components using technical drawings, written instructions, or sketches.
• Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and is completed within agreed timescales.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Occasional site work

Requirements

• Proven experience fabricating and welding from technical drawings.
• Experience carrying out proof load testing.
• Ability to manufacture components from instructions or sketches.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Experience operating cranes or lifting equipment (desirable).
