Laser Operative

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £13.39ph

Tenure: 12 weeks temporary to permanent

Metalis is working with a manufacturing company specialised in laser processing. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Bystronic Laser Operator to join their team.

Person Specification:

• Ideally apprentice trained engineer or time served
• Must have experience working with laser machinery, specifically Bystronic
• Previous experience with precision tolerances and high attention to detail

Job Description:

• Working and operating Bystronic laser machine
• Read and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Knowledge/use of appropriate tools to keep machines in operation
• Attention to detail; adherence to all standards of quality and safety

Shifts and Salary:

• £13.39 per hour
• 3 shift pattern: days afters and nights
• 6am - 2:15pm
• 2pm - 10:15pm
• 10pm - 06:15am
