Job Role: Laser Test Engineer
Location: Rugby
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Metalis are currently working with a Technology company who are looking for a Laser Test Engineer to join their team.
Duties:
- Test laser systems in a laboratory production environment
- Responsible for optical assembly, testing, calibration and characterization
- Maintain documentation on a range of laser stations
- Making manual adjustments and creating test reports
- Working with teams of laser engineers and the development team to solve engineering problems
- Working within a small team
Job Requirements:
- Degree educated in a science based engineering discipline or similar
- 5 years experience working with laser
- Electronic/Mechanical background
- Able to read and work from schematic and engineering drawings
Salary, Shift & Benefits:
- £38,000 per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:30pm & Friday, 8:30am - 1pm
