Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Non-core machinery)
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days regular (Call out 1 in every 5 weeks)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Metalis are working with a long-established client who maintain and repair non-core production machinery and facilities of manufacturing sites across the UK, mainly within the food & beverage and automation industries. This role will be based at a well-known food manufacturing site in Sheffield.
You will be responsible for supporting non-core electrical engineering and facilities services on site. Maintaining electrical safety, integrity and compliance of site-based facilities plant, equipment and infrastructure to current regulations.
Job Role:
- Install, maintain, service, fault find and inspect a wide range of electrical systems, facilities equipment and infrastructure across the site.
- Respond to breakdowns efficiently and undertake planned maintenance and repairs on equipment as and when required.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure site is running at optimal efficiently.
- Liase with contractors in the electrical maintenance speciality.
- Ensure all repairs are compliant with current regulations/legislation's.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical qualification.
- Experience within an industrial maintenance role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Confident working on compressed air, electrical services, waste management, HVAC and more.
