Metalis Recruitment are currently supporting a global electrical manufacturing company based in Warwick. Operating from a state-of-the-art, modern, and clean workshop, the company houses a variety of cells and departments, including CNC and power machinery, a paint shop, electrical assembly, and more.

Job Summary:
Due to a retirement, the company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Operations team by ensuring maximum equipment up time through effective planned maintenance activities. This role also includes a small amount of facilities management, encompassing repair, refurbishment, and installation tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise the maintenance system to manage various planned maintenance activities.
- Perform fault finding in hydraulic and pneumatic test rigs and circuits.
- Conduct fault finding on hydraulic and pneumatic products.
- Interrogate PLCs (beneficial but not essential).
- Communicate the organisation's vision through verbal communication and actions.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to the design and development of facility layouts and process organisations to optimise safety and ergonomics, improve production efficiency, and eliminate waste.
Personal Specification:
- Detailed knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and conduct fault finding on electric control circuits is essential.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey the organisation's vision.
- Ability to develop and implement facility layouts and process improvements for safety, ergonomics, and efficiency.
