Job Role: Manual Machinist

Location: Derby

Salary: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a engineering company based in Derby, who are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Set and operate Manual Lathes and Milling machines
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Carry out general repairs
• Work to tight tolerances

Job Requirements:

• Time Served Machinist
• Experience on Manual Lathes and Milling machines
• Competent in grinding and drilling
• Experience with sleeving, bushing housings and stubbing shafts
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings

Salary & Shift:

• £15.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, Days Regular
• Overtime available
