Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Location: Wakefield

Salary: £15-£17 DOE

Shifts: Days Regular

Metalis are currently in partnership with a longstanding family business who are looking to hire a skilled Pipe Fitter on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, assemble and repair pipes and pipe systems in carbon steel and stainless steel according to specifications
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine pipe and layouts
Cut, thread and bend pipes using hand and power tools
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
Install pipe hangers and supports to ensure proper alignment and elevation
Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and functionality

Person Specification:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Ability to read isometric drawings and P&ID's
Welding and fabrication experience
Ventilation and heating qualifications
Mechanical experience/qualifications

Salary and Shifts:

£15-£17ph DOE
12 weeks temporary to permanent role

Days regular

Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm
Fridays 7am-1pm
