Working with a company who are involved in the manufacture, service and repair of Pump equipment they are looking for a skilled fitter to join their team.The role is perfect for someone who likes to be out and about in various locations and areas, working on different projects on a daily basis.
The position includes site servicing, repairing and setting up equipment shop based work within the manufacturing facility
Duties
- Completing servicing on plant/machinery
- Responding to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues
- mechanical breakdowns throughout the area
- Maintenance, repair, and statutory compliance of Plant machinery
- Assuring accurate service, repair, and damage records are kept
- A firm understanding of Diesel engines and pump equipment
- Have experience in maintaining workshop standards
- Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
The Person
- Qualifications or experience as a Plant Mechanic/Fitter are essential
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers
- Methodical and structured approach to problem-solving
This is a permanent position for the right person, offering a starting hourly rate of £12.42
Monday - Friday days regular, 39 hours a week
