Welder/Fabricator
Location: Chesterfield & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday - Days or Shifts Available

Metalis are working with a variety of reputable manufacturing companies across the area, seeking skilled Welder/Fabricators to join their teams. These roles offer great opportunities to work on diverse projects, using your welding and fabrication expertise in busy workshop environments.

Job Duties:

• Carrying out MIG and/or TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Measuring, cutting, and fabricating components to precise specifications.
• Operating hand tools, grinders, and cutting machinery.
• Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards.
• Working to deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Previous experience in MIG and/or TIG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work confidently from technical drawings.
• Knowledge of workshop safety and fabrication techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Flexible, team-oriented approach.
