Job Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturer, who are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Supervise, lead and motivate all employees within own team to achieve daily targets
- Conduct daily shift meetings
- Oversee daily shift activities and monitor performance
- Work closely with the Operations manager and other members of the senior team to continually develop strategies
- Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure production output, quality and on time delivery targets are achieved
- Deal with absences, grievances, disciplinaries and other HR duties
- Implementation and adherence to Health and Safety procedures encouraging "safety first" culture
Job Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or production management role
- Hold relevant engineering qualifications
- Knowledge of CNC Turning and Milling (essential)
- Experience of automation and machine tools
Salary, Shift & Benefits:
- £37,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm & Friday 8:30am - 3pm (flexi hours available)
