Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Stoke who are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Account Management and development - maintaining strong connections with existing client base
- Keeping up to date with industry trends
- Managing own diary, scheduling, and attending client visits
- Keeping CRM systems up to date and accurately recording all sale activities and customer interactions
- Responding efficiently to all customer enquiries
- Following up on quotations and leads
- Identify new business opportunities within the territory
- Developing and working from sales plans
The role involves working from home 1 day a week and being out on the road visiting new and existing clients 4 days a week (there is some potential for overnight stays.)
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant professional experience in a technical sales role
- Willingness to travel for regular customer visits (North UK responsibility) including overnight stays, as well some yearly EMEA travel, full clean driving license required
- A good understanding of compressed air or gases (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages as well as exposure to CRM systems (essential)

- £40,000 - £45,000
- Stoke (travelling throughout the Northern UK Territory)
