Job Role: Saw Operative
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum + shift allowance
Metalis are currently working with a manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced Saw Operative to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Process, handle and cut steel to work specifications
- Update system status codes and schedules accurately
- Process customer orders according to sales and planning specifications
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and take responsibility for the accuracy of finished materials
- Understand sawing requirements for various metals to meet weekly and monthly productivity targets
- Record number of cuts and sawn hours regularly
Job Requirements:
- 2 years' minimum experience
- Material handling course (desired)
- Overhead crane experience (desired)
Salary & Shift:
- Up to £27,000 per annum + shift allowance
- Days - Monday to Friday, 6am - 2.30pm
- Nights - Monday to Thursday, 6pm - 4am
