Job Role: Sawing Operative
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Two Shift Pattern - Days, Afters rotating weekly
Salary: £28,000 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance

Metalis is working in partnership with a Specialist Manufacturer in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Sawing Operative on a permanent basis.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING SEMI-AUTOMATIC BAND SAWS.

Job Duties:

Operating several Semi-Automatic Bandsaws
Setting up and lining up work pieces on the saws
Operating FLT's, Cranes and Slings
Understanding quality procedures - weighing, measuring and inspection
Management of Swarf
Loading and changing saw blades
Monitoring blade conditions
