Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Leeds
Salary: £15.30ph
Metalis are currently in partnership with one of the UK's leading engineering companies based in Leeds. Our client is looking to hire a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator on a 12-week temporary to permanent role.
Duties and responsibilities:
- MIG & TIG welding.
- Welding and fabrication working with various materials such as steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
- Interpreting technical drawings.
- Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
- Operating cnc press brake machines.
Person Specification:
- Ideally apprentice trained or time served welder/ fabricator.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
- Qualified city & guilds sheet metal fabricator.
- Experience operating cnc press brakes.
Shifts and Salary:
- £15.30ph.
- Days regular.
- Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm.
- Friday - 7.30am - 1.30pm.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
- Overtime available at time and a half.
