Shift Manager
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £40k per annum
Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the Leeds area who are looking to add a Shift Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Ensure all targets are being met - working with metrics and data
- Plan and design works and WIP
- Resolve any production based issues
- Maintain health and safety,
- Complete risk assessments
- Support and coordinate any 6s or continuous improvement
- Ensure all policies and procedures are met by the workers
The Person:
- Experience working in a team leader position.
- Good understanding of key manufacturing processes and matrices (TOC, 6S, variable cost control etc.)
- Drive to actively endorse and promote excellent standards of work.
- Experience promoting manufacturing best practice.
