Job Title: Site Fitter
Location: Bradford
Salary: £30- £35k DOE
Metalis are currently in partnership with one of the UK's leading fabrication companies in Bradford. Due to growth and expansion, our client has a fantastic opportunity for a skilled site fitter.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travelling throughout the country in company vans to customer sites, installing architectural metalwork, project installs can range from staircases, steelwork to balustrades.
- Required to work away from home overnight as and when required.
- Welding on site to company procedures and coding.
- MIG and TIG welding.
- Liaising internally to ensure smooth running of each project.
- Site projects can include but not exhaust welding, erection and installation.
- Work to timescales set out by the company.
- Ensure all jobs are completed in a tidy and professional manner, and to the very highest of standards.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication / engineering drawings.
- Experience operating overhead cranes, guillotines, press brakes and more.
- Ability to communicate effectively with office regarding projects.
- Competent in reading and understanding cad drawings.
- Be able to use your own initiative when it comes to problem solving.
- Understand health and safety issues and regulations.
- Have a flexible approach to out-of-hours working.

Salary and Shifts:
- Days regular, Monday - Friday.
- Weekends available (optional and in advance).
- Working away from home, overnight stays.
- All accommodation is paid for, £25 expenses and £30 overnight allowance.
- £30 - £35k DOE.
