Job Role: Site Service Engineer
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: From £16.00 per hour
Metalis are currently working with a manufacturer in Chesterfield who are looking for a permanent Site Service Engineer to join their team.
Duties:
- Planned services on vacuum Tube lifting systems/Powder process machines/Handling systems
- Breakdown service on the above
- Upgrade installations and subsequent maintenance
- Management of van stock parts
- Complete written reports
- Providing feedback from site on problem issues on design and manufacture
- Assistance with off loading and loading of goods
- Driving safely to site/Plan trips efficiently
- Working Overseas when necessary - representing the company on customer sites
Job Requirements:
- High level of mechanical engineering skills
- Knowledge of pneumatics
- Able to work to deadlines
- Fork Lift Truck certificate
- National Safety Passport
- IPAF and PASMA
- LOLER training
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or time served equivalent
Salary, Shift & Benefits:
- Days shifts 37.5 hours - hours depending on customer sites
- Overtime available
- From £16 per hour - negotiable
- UK Away Bonus - £80 for each UK based 'away' visit consisting of 4 or more nights away in one week (Mon-Sun)
- Overseas Away Bonus - £100 Per Night for each night spent overseas
