Metalis are once again partnering with a client we know to be a responsive and ambitious manufacturing business with big growth plans, expanding workforce and clear direction.
Due to the mentioned growth this is a new role for the business encompassing design, project coordination and customer interaction ensuring a smooth flow of work from all departments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting and supporting the sales and design team.
- Creating detailed production information and bills of materials for use in manufacture
- Producing DXF to export for CNC profiling through AutoCAD
- Liaise with the design department to translate customer requirements into detailed design specification.
- Structural design checks using in-house software to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Attending meetings with customers to discuss the company's deliverables and aims for the future
- Attendance to industry related exhibitions.
- Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Technical Lead.
Experience Required:
- Must have a HNC or Mechanical/Manufacturing qualification.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Able to pick up computer systems quickly.
- A clear communicator.
- Strong Administration skills able to pan properly.
Shifts & Salary:
£28,000 - £35,000
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
