Job Role: TIG Welder

Location: Sheffield

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm

Salary: Salary £30,000 - £33,000 per annum dependant on experience

Metalis are working in partnership with a specialist Powder Metallurgy business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled TIG Welder on a permanent basis.

Job Duties:

TIG Welding
Completing welding of canisters and fill stems to a high (leak proof) standard
Coordinate with Lead welder/Production Manager with regards to upcoming projects, timescales, and project deadlines
Assisting Lead welder/Production Manager to ensure project deadlines are met.
Overseeing canister fabrication, crimping, and welding after crimp
Checking and maintaining own equipment to ensure welding capability is always available.
Checking stock levels of relevant materials to ensure welding capability is always available.
Ensuring material is cleaned and deburred prior to welding.
Any reasonable task as requested by the Lead welder/Production Manager
