Job Role: Toolmaker (EDM)

Location: Mansfield

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team.

Job Duties:

Operation of CNC Milling machines
Operation of EDM CNC Wire Eroders, Spark Eroders and Fast Hole Drilling machines
Identify tooling requirements
Produce jigs and fixtures
Identify and solve mechanical/manufacturing issues
Work to engineering specifications/drawings
Working to tight tolerances

Job Requirements:

EDM Toolmaking experience
Time Served Apprenticeship OR HND in Mechanical Engineering (desired)
Knowledge of Injection Moulding
Experience working with Mitsubishi and Sodick machines
Experience working within the Aerospace sector is preferred

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

Negotiable (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (they also offer compressed working patterns)
