Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £13.81ph - £14.52ph with attendance bonus

Shifts: Days regular

Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established subcontracting engineering company based in Sheffield. Our client is actively looking to hire three skilled Welder Fabricators.

Job Duties:

  • MIG welding and fabrication.
  • Create quality welds according to drawings (weld symbols).
  • Inspect welds for accuracy.
  • Ensure all equipment is correctly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
  • Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
  • Perform simple maintenance and repair as required.
  • Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

Person Specification:

  • Must be able to read drawings
  • Must have been coded for welding at some point in their lives

Shifts:

  • 7.00am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs, Fri 7.00am to 11am
  • £13.81ph - £14.52ph plus attendance bonus
  • 12 weeks temporary to permanent
