Fabricator / Welder (MIG) Pay: £15.50–£16.00 per hour Location: NG20 Job Type: Full-time (days)

We’re recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join an established engineering business specialising in bespoke engineering solutions and the manufacture of metal components and assemblies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in fabrication and MIG welding, who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

The Role

Fabricating components and assemblies using steel sections and sheet metal. Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Using hand tools and power tools to cut, shape and assemble materials. Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in MIG welding.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fabrication.
• Experience working with steel sections and sheet metal.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good mechanical knowledge and accurate measuring skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
