CNC Miller


Location: Halifax
Hours: Days Regular Monday-Friday
Salary: £15.50 - £16.20ph

12-week Temp-Perm; Permanent after 12-week completion.



Metalis are currently working with a prestigious engineering company who produce high tolerance precision components, manufactured to exacting customer requirements, who are looking for a CNC Miller to join their welcoming team.



Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Heidenhain control.
• Program jobs with 4th Axis.
• Load machine with Vices / Fixture.
• Load the tooling with correct offsets.
• Upload programs.
• Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards.

The successful candidate:

• Programming experienced - highly desirable.
• Heidenhain Control experience - essential

Qualifications:

• Qualified/Apprentice Trained - preferred.
• Time Served also considered.

Shifts & Salary:

• Days Regular
• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Fridays: 8:00am - 2:30pm
• flexible hour at the front of the day, allowing you to start at 7.00 am and finish at 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday start at 7.00 am work though lunch and finish at 1.00 pm.
