Job Role: CNC Turner

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £13.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with an Aerospace manufacturer, who produce high quality and complex products and are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Set, operate and program CNC Turning machines
• Perform in-process inspection using measuring devices
• Complete and maintain records (inspection, consumables etc.)
• Work to engineering specifications/drawings
• Working to tight tolerances

Job Requirements:

• Manufacturing Apprenticeship preferred
• Experienced in setting, operating and programming CNC Turning machines
• Able to understand how to alter tooling offsets on machines
• Experience working within the Aerospace sector is preferred
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Able to work to tight tolerances

Salary & Shift:

• £13.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Rotating shift pattern (days and afternoons OR permanent nights)
• Overtime available at an enhanced rate
