Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Worcester who due to expansion are looking for a Toolroom Technician to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Millings, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting duties
- Stripping / Assembling dies and trimtools
- Use of Overhead Crane / FLT
- Maintaining Die and Trim tool conditions
- Supporting other priorities within the toolroom e.g. machine breakdowns
- Working in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures
- Adhering to strict health and safety procedures
The Successful Candidate will have:
- Previous experience Turning, Milling, Grinding or Bench Fitting (essential)
- Experience operating the Overhead Crane / FLT (Ideally - training can be given)
- A "can do" attitude
- Experience using hand and power tools
Salary:
- £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
- Days & Afternoons (6am - 2pm, 2pm-10pm)
- 16% Shift Allowance on Afternoons
