Job Role: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Leicester
Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Working with mechanical components such as gears, bearings, motors, seals etc
- Assemble mechanical parts by following engineering drawings
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Work on a variety of different projects
- Carry out inspections and tests
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical Fitting experience
- Worked in a heavy engineering environment
- MIG welding experience (desired)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy machinery and components
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
Salary & Shift:
- £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
- Guaranteed overtime available at 1.5x
