Metalis are currently working alongside a specialist manufacturing business based within Chesterfield, who due to expansion are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly, stripping down and repairing of equipment
• Building sub-assemblies for material handling equipment
• Working from engineering drawings & specifications
• Testing of equipment
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Use of hand & power tools

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or fitting role
• Hands on and supportive of wider business
• Wanting a long-term career

Working Hours:

• Days only
• Monday - Friday. 7:30AM - 5PM
• £15.00ph - £16.00ph
