Job Role: Metal Sorter
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with an established business within the metals recycling industry, who are looking for an experienced Metal Sorter to join their team.
Job Duties:
- XRF testing and segregating
- Report any discrepancies to the Works Manager
- Ensure materials meet the correct specifications
- Complete reports that describe findings from tested materials
- From time to time, help with processing of materials
- Remove items from stock locations and assign new locations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Job Requirements:
- Experience with XRF scanners
- Segregation experience
- Knowledge of Nickel and Cobalt based superalloys
- FLT Licence - Reach/Counterbalance (desired)
Salary, Shift & Benefits:
- Up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm & Friday, 8am - 3pm
