Job Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Metalis are currently working with a well established manufacturer in Rotherham, who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Assist with third party audits and assessments
- Contribute and support site improvement activities
- Monitor and analyse quality performance data
- Support quality aspects relating to the submission of FAIRS, ISIR reports
- Lead problem solving activities using 8D's, 5 why's, FMEA's, DMAIC etc.
- Coordination of document control
- Work closely with colleagues within the SHEQ department
- Use quality management systems
Job Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (preferred)
- Experience of Quality Systems (AS9100/ISO9000/ISO14001)
- Auditor qualification and experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of lean principles
Salary & Shift:
- £40,000 per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm & Friday, 8:30am - 3pm
