Metalis Engineering are working with a leading precision engineering company who are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing clients in the automotive sector.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, understanding their requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of our precision engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of customer requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Travel to meet with clients throughout the UK, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts, providing regular updates to management.
Shifts & Salary:
- £35,000 - £40,000
- Monday - Friday, Days only
- Permanent
Requirements:
- Previous experience in technical sales, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of precision engineering principles and practices.
- Understanding of machining processes and capabilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
- Experience in the medical sector would be advantageous but not essential.
