MIG / TIG Welder
£16.83ph + Overtime rates

12 months fixed term contract
Metalis are working with an established manufacturer who are looking for a MIG / TIG Welder to join the team in Hope Valley.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- MIG / TIG Welding
- Fabrication duties
- Cutting materials using the CNC guillotine machine working with mild and stainless steel between 0.7 and 5mm thickness
- Operating band saws and notching machines
- Deburring using notches and linishing belts
- Working from engineering drawings & specifications
- Adhering to strict health & safety deadlines
The successful candidate will have:
- Welding and Fabrication experience (Essential)
- Apprentice trained WSelder (ideal)
- Experience operating a Guillotine machine and a variety of other workshop machinery
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing company
Shifts & Salary:
- £16.83ph + overtime rates
- Monday - Friday, 37.50 Hours per week
- Mon-Thurs 8.00 - 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday)
